We at Blue Waves Swimming, Inc are committed to making the lives of children better by more than just teaching them to swim.
Operation Christmas
ChildWe collected enough to make and donate 60 shoeboxes filled with goodies for children around the world.
Start saving now for next season, with your help, we hope to make 100 boxes in 2012.
Samaritan's Purse - Operation Christmas Child- through St. Mary's Church..
The organization ships wrapped shoe boxes filled w/presents to different parts of the world including the U.S. to children 2 to 14 yrs. old who are less fortunate.In most cases this shoe box is all the children will get as a Christmas present.Last year we donated 50 boxes, thanks to everyone who helped by making donations.Items and boxes may be dropped off at the swim school OR the TOB Aquatics office at 151 Phelps Lane in North Babylon...Anytime - starting now thru November 1, 2012.
